Neil Ligon presently serves as the Executive Director of LIFE, Inc., the Center for Independent Living serving the 20 counties of Southeast Georgia, a role he’s occupied since June of 2016. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Tulane Law School, his career working with people with disabilities began as a user of services and gradually became a professional calling. Marrying his academic and legal background with a learned deference to the lived experience of the individuals with whom he works, his approach centers on consumer empowerment through consumer-directed service delivery.
